On the way home…
…we decided to take the northern route, via Albuquerque. That was a mistake since large portions of I-40 were under construction, adding about 2 hours to our drive. (FYI, although officially decommissioned in the 1980s, this portion of I-40 is Route 66.) Also for you wondering what the Arrowhead with a 12 in it means, that’s Indian Reservation Road 12 -- the road takes you to an Indian reservation.
